Transport Links

The Orchid apartment is extremely easy to locate and is conveniently located for numerous transport links for around the surrounding area.

 

The M1 can be reached within minutes, junction 25 to head south and junction 26 to head up north.

 

It is less than 30 minutes from East Midlands Airport, which can be reached via car, taxi, bus or train.

 

The apartment is within easy walking distance of Beeston train station, with direct links to Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and London.

 

An even shorter walk is to the tram, with regular trams to Nottingham, NG2 and QMC.

 

There is also an extensive and expansive bus network which travels around Nottingham city and county and to Derby.

 

The Orchid apartment is also centrally located within Beeston, so many facilities are within easy walking distance.

 

 

Beeston Business Park

Work & Industry

If you are coming to Nottingham for work, Beeston is a fantastically convenient and safe place to stay.  Being both an affluent and cosmopolitan suburb, it offers a wealth of services and fantastic transport links, read more on the transport blog.

The Orchid apartment is ideally located near the Main Nottingham University Campus, but also only a short drive from the Jubilee Campus and Nottingham Trent Campuses.

The Queens Medical Centre QMC is also extremely easy to reach via the tram as both are located on the same line.

Beeston is home to Boots Headquarters and all the other businesses which are located within the Boots business park.

There is also the new Beeston Business Park which is home to Atos and Go Daddy, and The Nottingham Science Park opposite University Park.

Just a short distance along the tram line there is fantastic access to the NG2 business park which is home to Experian, Speedo International, VF Group and Spec Savers.

There are a whole host of businesses located within the vicinity of the apartment both large such as Warhammer World and small, many of whom are international.

If you are visiting any of these businesses and require convenient and comfortable accommodation then The Orchid is for you.

Local Food

Staying in Beeston you will be spoilt for choice for food options, whether you want good quality produce to make your own, supermarket variety, a takeaway in front of the Smart TV or a meal out, Beeston has it all with a huge variety of choice.
